Time on server: As of writing this; 63 hours. ----------------------Questions---------------------- What would you do if someone needs help?: Primarily drop whatever i'm doing in a RP standpoint, then ask what specifically they need help with, and if i'm able to assist them as a Helper, I would answer any questions they have and assist them with their problem. If their quarrel is something that happens to befall outside of what I am able to do, I would advise a higher up who is more suitable to assist with the issue, that a player needs assistance. If a player needs/ asks for guidance what do you do?: I would take them aside and show them the ropes, letting them know the basics about how leveling up works, explaining how SrsRP and OC's are a thing to keep in mind while playing, and advise them of things that would be important for a new player would need to know. Do you have a Mic?: *Rammus 'Yeaah" sound effect* What is RDM?: Random Death Match; It's when a player attacks and/or kills another player for a reason outside of what is acceptable in an RP situation or without reason whatsoever. What is FailRP?: FailRP is when a player does something that their RP character would simply not do. This could fall under metagaming, powergaming, or simply refusing to follow the rules of what they are RP'ing as. What do you do if you see a staff member abusing their powers?: Report it directly to the owner, as well as the staff manager, without involving myself directly to the issue. As well I would ensure that a such allegation would not be brought into question without undeniable photo/video evidence. If a Player threatens to DDoS the server what would you do?: Again, advise the owner directly and supply photo/video evidence. But as well contact the most easily available higher up that is able to ban the user. What is Job Abuse?: Switching to a job that is able to do something that the users current job is incapable of doing. If you see a player spamming props what do you do?: Acquire photo/video evidence of the issue and the individual causing said issue, then proceed to either jail and/or warn the user in question depending on severity and intent. If you see Thievery on the server what do you do?: Depending on the severity of the issue, I would first take action by a verbal warning an advising the user in question to return what was stolen. If the issue continues, it would have to go to an actual warning and/or jail. Why do you feel that you should be a helper?: From what i've experienced from my time of being a part of this community that I have absolutely fallen in love with, I have learned there are certain time periods to which there are new players coming along that are in need of guidance and assistance, and there is rarely anyone to offer such help due to the time that they are on the server. Furthermore, I have been a moderator and admin on a few different DarkRP servers in the past, in short; this isn't my first rodeo and I know the ropes of helping people when it comes to such things and also turning troublemakers away from the light of such, I sort of have a knack for calming people down and knowing the difference from a mistake, simply being upset, and genuinely trying to cause problems. My main strength comes from my judge of character, outside of my experiences from server moderation in Gmod, personal things I have been through have granted me a very keen nose when it comes to intent and seeing the good or bad in others. Lastly, rather than using the powers of a specific moderation/helper role, I prefer to give people chances to prove that they're not an issue, rather than making them feel as if they should feel guilty for what has happened, when 9 times out of 10 it's a misunderstanding that can be worked out. Humans are sensitive and tricky, and you need to be sensitive and tricky to be able to deal with that. Sorry for the novel, I always make sure i'm thorough when it comes to applications.
