Ethan was born in Johto and lived most of his young life there. But when his was around 10 years old him and his family moved the the Hoenn region. One day when he was out on a walk on route 120 he heard strange noises coming from on the the patchs of tall grass and what he found would change his life from that day on. He found a badly injured shiny absol. It's one of its front and back legs legs were cut and were bleeding and was burned badly. So he decided to take the Absol back to home and treat its wounds and feed it. After being together for 4 months they started to make a bond that was inseparable and Ethan remembering he was old enough to become a Pokémon Trainer he went out and bought a Luxuary Ball for his absol. After that the two of them went out and beat all of the Hoenn gyms battled the Elite Four but they sadly lost to the champion. After their loss they went and travled around the world traveling to Kalos, Shinno, Alola, Kanto, and Johto and meet many more pokemon along the way. As they were in Kalos they found out about something called "Mega Evolution" and were gifted a Keystone and Mega Stone. After they want around the world battling all the gym leaders he decided to move to a remote unnamed region and become the region's Dark Gym Leader.
