She was born of a nightmare, dreamed up by a powerful psychic type and accidentally given physical form. Her body is a shapeless shadow in its true state, and is locked away within a pendant; the entrapped nightmare, however, has just enough power to manifest a physical form. Said form takes the shape of a Murkrow, a vessel that allows her to wear the pendant, which contains her actual consciousness, around its neck. Contrary to her eerie origins, however, Bristle is a surprisingly nice person. Bristle's body cannot speak, since she is not strong enough to gift her projection with the power of speech. One can wear her pendant, however, to establish a mental link and talk with Bristle herself, and find that she is a timid, yet cheery soul. Loyal, yet lonely, Bristle's friends are few and far between, since few take kindly to the idea of wearing what looks like a cursed pendant gifted to them by a dark bird, but those willing to take the risk are rewarded with a friend for life. Currently, she flies around the lands in the hopes of escaping her Light counterpart, a Pendant filled with light and created in the same dream as she was. However, light, in this case, does not mean good, and the Light Pendant hunts Bristle ceaselessly in the hopes of snuffing her out.
